Located a short drive up the mountain from down town Santa Fe. This resort is arguably the most popular local mountain in New Mexico. The lifts and facilities rival the larger regional resorts of Angel Fire and Taos in the northern part of the state. It boasts a wide variety terrain for all levels, some great terrain parks, and excellent tree skiing. It's a worthy destination for skiers from neighbouring states if you are not requiring the double black terrain found at Taos.
Underrated resort in Albuquerque's back yard due to slow lifts and inconsistent snow fall. Yet, it has some of the longest runs in the state and surprisingly enjoyable beginner and intermediate terrain. You would be hard pressed to find better cruisers anywhere in New Mexico when the snow is good.
